Team & external consultants
We have a small but well-integrated and powerful team of employees – internal and external – that manage and execute projects and transactions with commitment and dedication. Expertise, know-how and know-why as well as curiosity, creativity and an eye for 'doable' things characterise our people.
We therefore consider a trustworthy relationship within the team as one of our or key principles and an important pillar of our success. Hence, we are aiming to create a working environment based on partnership in which commitment and performance is appreciated.

Management
Peter Coch, managing director and co-founder.
More than twentyfive years of mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance experience, thereof fourteen years exclusively with clients from the manufacturing, retail, consumer goods and consumer-near services and products industries.
Previous to the foundation of COCH & Cie. Corporate Finance, Peter Coch worked for the retail and consumer products M&A practice of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, Robert Fleming Investment Banking (acquired by J.P. Morgan Chase), Doertenbach & Co. and as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions of Heyde AG. Prior to university, Peter Coch worked three and a half years for Metallgesellschaft AG (renamed to GEA Group AG) in Frankfurt / Main and Toronto, Canada.
Subsequent to completing his A-levels in 1987 at Frankfurt / Main and military service, Peter Coch participated in a commercial training in the area of wholesale and export with Metallgesellschaft AG.
Peter Coch studied finance and accounting at Hochschule für Wirtschaft, Bremen, and Leeds Business School (Leeds Beckett University), Leeds, United Kingdom. In addition, Peter Coch participated in seminars and trainings in the area of business mediation.
Since 1996, Peter Coch has been working on more than 50 mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance transactions and projects, including initial public offerings and supervisory board member assignments. Furthermore, lectures related to M&A and corporate finance topics.
